Celebrate 2012′s record-breaking year with a pair of exciting Travel & Tourism Week events, beginning Monday, May 6 and culminating on Wednesday, May 8 with our first-ever Tourism Tailgate. 
The first-ever Visit St. Pete/Clearwater Tourism Tailgate, an informal event, takes place at Ferg’s Sports Bar and Grill, starting at 4:30 p.m., followed by a Tampa Bay Rays vs. Toronto Blue Jays baseball game at 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8. The cost ($10 for adults, $5 for kids under 12) includes the celebration at Ferg’s (food, beverage, entertainment and kids games) and game at Tropicana Field (group seating). RSVP here!
Visit St. Pete/Clearwater is kicking off Travel & Tourism Week two days before with its annual rally at Tampa International Airport with Tampa Bay & Co. and U.S. Travel. The rally is from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 6, and more details, including an official invitation, are to come.
